Pastor Jeff used this acronym on Wednesday night to help us remember what keeps us healthy in our journey with God...
H.ang-time with God.
A.ccountability.
B.ible reading.
I.nvolved in church.
T.ithing.
S.tudying scripture.

Hang-time with God is important because He uses that alone time to comfort and convict us.
*
Accountability is having someone who will keep in touch with you and make sure that you are keeping up with what you need to be keeping up with. Your accountability partner (someone of the same-sex) can come to you and say, "Hey, how's that Bible reading going?"

Bible reading is sooo important because that is how God speaks to us generaly. The bible is His letter to us. Through it we find his guidelines on how to live our lives.

Involved in Church means that we don't just ATTEND church...we're a part of it! It's so important for us to take this church and make it out own. Remember...we aren't the future of the church! We are the church!

Tithing is giving a percentage of our income (time and energy too!) to God. He gave us everything and so we give part of it back.

Studying scripture is important because we need to understand what God is telling us.
So, think about these and try to put them into practice!
